The Grenzbach (Czech: Pomezní Potok ), formerly Reitschen- or Raitschenbach called, is a right tributary of the Röslau in Bavaria Fichtelgebirge .
Spring streams
The border water has two source streams, both of which arise on the northern slope of the Moosrangen in the Kohlwald , the right Raitschenbach and the left Schmeckenbach , which is less than half a kilometer away . The smaller Schmeckenbach, which runs parallel to the Raitschenbach for about a kilometer to the north-northeast, then joins it to form the Grenzbach.
course
The Grenzbach passes a brick factory in the east of the market town of Schirnding and then swings to the north-north-west, whereupon it separates the Federal Republic of Germany from the Czech Republic on its north-north-west course to its mouth . Right at the beginning of this border section it passes through the apex pond , then at the border crossing under the federal highway 303 / Europastraße 48 and the railway line Nuremberg – Cheb and flows into the Röslau near fishermen from the right, which reaches the Eger a little further down the valley .
use
The Grenzbach is used economically by fishing.
