The Griffith Glacier is a glacier in Marie Byrd Land, West Antarctica . It flows from the California Plateau and the Watson Escarpment to the Scott Glacier , which it reaches between Mount McKercher and Mount Meeks .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and using aerial photographs by the United States Navy between 1960 and 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1967 after Lieutenant Commander Philip G. Griffith, commander of the flight squadrons in the Deep Freeze operations of the years 1966 and 1967 for the creation of aerial photographs.
