The Große Küstrinsee , also known as the Großer Küstrinchener See or simply Küstrinsee, is located east of Lychen in northeastern Brandenburg and is the longest lake in the course of the Lychener waters of the Havel tributary . It receives water from the Feldberger Lakes in nearby Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in two different ways . It belongs to the Uckermärkische Seenlandschaft and is located in the Uckermärkische Seen Nature Park .

The lake is stretched and twisted in a west-east direction. The surrounding area is largely forested. The body of water is about six kilometers long and on average no wider than 300 meters. At the western end of the lake, the eponymous small settlement Küstrinchen lies on an ascending terminal moraine. The catchment area has an area of ​​92.82 km².
