Fundamentals of law and economics
The basics of law and economics were a series of legal and economics textbooks from the time of National Socialism .
The basics were published by the Hanseatische Verlagsanstalt in Hamburg under their publisher Benno Ziegler. They were supervised by the Kiel university lecturers Georg Dahm , Karl August Eckhardt and Ernst Rudolf Huber as editors. The content of the monographic series was broader than the outline of German law published by Mohr Siebeck in Tübingen , which was published by the two civil law experts Heinrich Stoll and Heinrich Lange .
In its advertising, the publisher spoke of a "joint work of a uniform group of young fighters" who were "permeated by a uniform political stance". The proximity to the "New Law" and the high participation of the members of the so-called Kiel School were striking . The series was one of the officially recommended training literature. Eckhardt presented the series of publications in the Kitzeberg camp near Kiel in 1935. The price of the volumes was between three and six Reichsmarks. All volumes appeared in a paperboard and a bound edition.
Between 1936 and 1944 a total of 16 of the planned 31 volumes were presented in two series. The following volumes have been published:
