Gustav Adolf Sabel (* 1867 ; † 1911 ) was a German private school founder.

When Gustav Adolf Sabel died in 1911, his wife sold the schools in Augsburg and Saarbrücken in 1912, but remained the owner of the schools in Nuremberg and Munich. In the following years up to the Second World War, the schools developed into the largest educational institute in northern Bavaria. Both school locations were bombed out during World War II. In 1948 the rooms were rebuilt and Rudolf Sabel, the founder's son, continued to run the schools in the spirit and spirit of his father. In 1963, secretary training began in Munich. In 1964, the day care center for pupils was built there as the first private school in Munich. In 1971 Rudolf Sabel and his wife died. According to the wishes of the deceased, in 1976 the schools were converted into a non-profit “Foundation for private business schools Sabel”. Today there are locations of the Sabel schools and subsidiaries in Munich (headquarters of the foundation), Nuremberg , Schongau , Friedrichshafen , Saalfeld , Altenburg , Leipzig , Freital / Dresden , Berlin and Brandenburg. The individual Sabel schools introduced uniform quality management in 2006 and are TÜV certified.
