Gustav Frank (lithographer)

Gustav Frank (born December 26, 1819 in Stralsund , † April 8, 1888 in Dessau ) was a German landscape painter , lithographer and draftsman.

Gustav Frank was born the son of the actor and decorative painter Carl Friedrich Frank in Stralsund and was baptized as a Protestant. In 1853 he married Auguste Frühsorge. The couple had a son, Eugen Oskar, who worked as a painter and photographer. The Gustav Frank family lived in Dessau.
