from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gustav Albert Reiniger (born August 4, 1835 in Stuttgart ; † January 18, 1903 there ) was a cigar manufacturer in Stuttgart and a member of the Reichstag of the German Empire .

Life

Reiniger attended secondary school in Stuttgart. He later worked as a cigar manufacturer in Stuttgart. Nothing more can be learned about the history of his company, only that it was not a factory , but a manufacture , because there was neither a boiler house nor a machine room to drive equipment. He was a member of the Stuttgart Freemason Lodge to the three cedars .

He went on educational trips to North America and the West Indies and was municipal councilor in Stuttgart from 1874 to 1891.

From 1881 to 1884 he was a member of the Reichstag for the constituency of Württemberg 5 ( Esslingen , Nürtingen , Kirchheim , Urach ) and the German Reich Party .
