Gustav Sommerfeldt
Friedrich Heinrich Gustav Sommerfeldt (born March 3, 1865 in Stallupönen , † May 3, 1939 in Dresden ) was a German historian and teacher.
Sommerfeldt , who came from East Prussia , did his doctorate in 1888 at the Albertus University in Königsberg on the subject of Emperor Henry VII's trip to Rome. phil. He worked full-time as a teacher, including in Thuringia , and since the First World War as a senior teacher in Dresden. He published mainly on regional and local history topics, which mainly concern the Ore Mountains as well as the Saxon and Thuringian history .
