Gustave Bebbe (born June 22, 1982 in Yaoundé ; full name Gustave Anicet Bebbe Mbangue ) is a Cameroonian football player .

Club career

Bebbe made his debut with Espoir d'Ebowola and played there until 2002. He moved to Renaissance de Ngoumou for one season . After this season he signed the reigning Cameroonian champions Cotonsport Garoua . With Cotonsport, Gustave Bebbe became champions for the first time in his career in the 2004/05 season.

But even here he only stayed one season. Bebbe made the leap to Europe in the Turkish Süper Lig . His new team was called Konyaspor . At Konyaspor he impressed as a striker. MKE Ankaragücü signed him for a transfer fee of 1.75 million euros. To date, Bebbe has played 66 games and scored 15 goals for the Blue-Yellows . After two years in Ankara, Bebbe moved to Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor and then to Diyarbakırspor and Kasımpaşa Istanbul . At the end of the season Kasımpaşa did not manage to keep up and parted ways with Gustave Bebbe.

For the new season, Bebbe reached an agreement with the Vietnamese club PVFC Sông Lam Nghệ An .

From 2012 to 2015 he was not listed as a player in any club.

Since 2015 he has been playing for various lower-class Turkish clubs, currently at Serik Belediyespor .

National team

Gustave Bebbe waited in vain for a nomination for the Cameroon national football team . Therefore, Bebbe applied for Turkish citizenship. He received it in 2008 and his Turkish name is Alper Aydın . This gave him the chance to play for the Turkish national soccer team .

On May 31, 2008, however, Gustave Bebbe made his first international match for Cameroon against Cape Verde . His first goal for the national team scored Bebbe in the 87th minute of the qualifying game for the 2010 World Cup against Mauritius on June 8, 2008. He was included in the Olympic selection of the Cameroonian national football team and played four games at the Beijing Olympic Games.
