Höcherhof is a wasteland in the municipality of Bodenwöhr in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

geography

Höcherhof is located in the east of Bavaria in the Upper Palatinate in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park , about three kilometers west of the state road 2398 from Neunburg vorm Wald to Bodenwöhr. The wilderness lies at an altitude of 470 meters at the foot of the Hirschberg and the Eicherlberg. One kilometer northwest of Höcherhof is the Pfahl nature reserve .

Community membership

The villages and wastelands Höcherhof, Kipfenberg, Pingarten, Turesbach and Ziegelhütte belonged to the municipality of Taxöldern. On July 1, 1972, the municipality of Taxöldern was dissolved in the course of the regional reform and was incorporated with all districts into the municipality of Bodenwöhr.
