history

In 1818, the political communities Niederhöcking and Oberhöcking came into being after the second community edict .

In 1946 the municipality of Harburg was dissolved and the part to the right of the Isar with the village of Zulling was incorporated into the municipality of Niederhöcking (the rest came to Pilsting ). In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , the communities Niederhöcking and Oberhöcking were merged on January 1, 1971 to form the new community Höcking. The parish village of Niederhöcking was the seat of the new community, although Oberhöcking was the most populous place. On January 1, 1978, Höcking was incorporated into the city of Landau an der Isar . A small area with then two inhabitants came to Mamming .
