Pilgrimage church

On the summit is the pilgrimage church of Our Lady of Hörnleberg , which was probably built in the 8th or 9th century . The first written mention of the capella uf dem Hörnlin comes from the year 1469, in the book of benefices of the Diocese of Constance . According to the founding myth of the chapel, a blind man from Alsace swore that, should he ever see again , he would build a chapel in honor of Mary on the first mountain he saw.

Three crossroads , from Bleibach , from Oberwinds and from Simonswald , lead up to the pilgrimage church.
