The Højestene is a Danish motor ferry that has been in service since 1997 between Svendborg , Skarø and Drejø in the Danish South Seas ( Danish Sydfynske Øhav ).

The ferry was built at Tórshavnar Skipasmidja in Thorshavn on the Faroe Islands and delivered in April 1997.

The two Volvo Penta - Diesel engines with 750  kW power the ship has a top speed of 11.6  knots .

The ferry is operated by the Svendborg Municipality shipping company .
