history
In 1708 the Zittau council bought a piece of land immediately west of the Löbauer meadow belonging to Eibau from an Ebersbach farm owner for 200 thalers . There he had 15 construction sites built along the road from Eibau to Ebersbach, each 100 cubits long and 50 cubits wide. In the 1830s the road leading through the settlement was chaused as the Poststrasse from Zittau to Dresden .
After the Ebersbach community was split up in 1839, the Hübelhäuser were part of the Altebersbach community. In 1877 the communities of Altebersbach and Neuebersbach reunited to form a community of Ebersbach. Since the city merger of Ebersbach with Neugersdorf in 2011, the settlement has belonged to the city of Ebersbach-Neugersdorf .
