Hüll is a church village in the market town of Wolnzach in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm . It is located in the center of the Hallertau - the largest hop growing area in the world.
history
The Catholic branch church of St. Peter and Paul in Hüll is a plastered hall church with a retracted polygonal choir and a tower and onion dome on top. It dates from the 17th century and was redesigned in the 19th century. In the 1920s, Gut Hüll was acquired as the headquarters of a research institute ( Hop Research Center Hüll ). In the immediate vicinity of the institute is also the "Busch-Farm" of the currently world's largest brewery group, Anheuser-Busch InBev .
On February 12, 1929, the lowest temperature ever recorded in Germany was measured in Hüll, -37.8 ° C.
