Haushausen is a district of the Wolnzach market in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm . The church village is located in the fertile Tertiary hill country of the Hallertau , the largest contiguous hop growing area in the world.
history
The Catholic branch church of St. George is a hall church with pilaster structure, retracted polygonal choir and northern choir flank tower with octagonal tower and onion dome, the nave and choir with mirrored ceilings Baroque around 1700-10.
Haushausen became an independent political municipality in the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria in 1818. On July 1, 1971, Haushausen was incorporated into the Wolnzach market.
