The sleeve is a flowing body of water in the city of Stadthagen and in the municipality of Lauenhagen in the district of Schaumburg in Lower Saxony .

The right tributary of the Sachsenhäger Aue has its origin in Stadthagen. It branches off from Krummen Bach in the northern area of the Krebshagen district of Stadthagen and flows from there in a northerly direction through the town center of Stadthagen, the town center of Lauenhagen and then in a north-easterly direction on the southern outskirts of Hülshagen .

The brook crosses under the Mittelland Canal northwest of Niedernholz and flows east of Nienbrügge into the Sachsenhäger Aue , which merges into the Westaue east of Auhagen . This in turn joins the Leine near Bordenau .
