The Sachsenhäger Aue is the approximately 7.5 km long headwaters of the Westaue in the north of the Schaumburg district in Lower Saxony (Germany).

The floodplain continues at Nienbrügge west of Sachsenhagen through the Alte Holpe (von Pollhagen ) at the tributary of the Hülse (from the Bückeberg ) and drains the east side of the Rehburg mountains and the north side of the Bückeberg.

It flows from west to east parallel on the north side of the Mittelland Canal through Sachsenhagen and Auhagen and changes its name to Westaue at the inflow of the Rodenberger Aue after Auhagen shortly before the district boundary , which flows into the Leine near Bordenau .
