history

The first mention of Hüttenkofen is a decree dated February 8, 821, in which Abbot Sigfrid von Engelbrechtsmünster is the heir to the Benedictine monastery of St. Emmeram . According to a document dated between 889 and 891 from St. Emmeram Monastery, it received goods in Hittinchoba from the noble Peruuin . Another documented mention from 1339 shows that the pastor of Kirchberg and the pastor of Hüttenkofen argued about the parish of Wörth an der Isar . Wörth remained a branch of the Hüttenkofen parish until 1835.

In 1752 Hüttenkofen belonged with ten properties to the Reichersdorf Obmannschaft in the Adlkofen office of the Vilsbiburg Regional Court . The community, formed in the 19th century, included the church village and seat of the municipal administration Hüttenkofen, the church village Goldern (largest town), the hamlets of Bergham, Bergsdorf, Lehen and Taschenmais as well as the desert areas of Haag and Oberholz. It was incorporated into the Niederaichbach community on January 1, 1971 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria . Since the restructuring of the pastoral care units in the diocese of Regensburg in 2002/2003, Hüttenkofen is no longer run as a parish and is part of the parish community Niederaichbach ~ Oberaichbach ~ Wörth an der Isar .
