The H.-J. Kratschke (spelling and HJ. Kratschke ) is a former rescue vessel of the German Society for Sea Rescue Service (GMRS) of the 19-m class of 1969 by the shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen in Lemwerder under shipyard no. 6313 was built. The DGzRS internal designation was KRS 03.
The daughter boat Ludje had the internal name KRT 03.
Sister ships are the Otto Schülke , the Hans Lüken and the G. Kuchenbecker ..
Naming
The cruiser was named after a crew member of the rescue cruiser Adolph Bermpohl , who was killed in a serious accident in February 1967.
The daughter boat was christened with the nickname of a deserving foreman of List on Sylt .
Stationings
From June 1969 to May 1979 the H.-J. Kratschke stationed in List on the island of Sylt. Then she was moved to Nordstrand , where the ship lay until July 1996. From August 1996 until it was decommissioned in October 2003, the cruiser was at the DGzRS station Eiderdamm at the Eider Barrage .
Whereabouts
Since spring 2004 the H.-J. Kratschke exhibited as a museum ship on the grounds of the DGzRS headquarters in Bremen .
