H42 Records
H42 Records is an independent music label from Hamburg. The musical focus is on the genres of hard rock and stoner rock .
history
The label was founded in 2012 by Jürgen Berndt, who runs it alone. Berndt originally comes from the Swabian town of Laupheim , where he gained experience in organizing concerts while working for the youth culture association, including the Summernight Festival, which has been held annually since 1978. The label focuses on releases on vinyl . The vinyl sound carriers usually have a circulation of 250 to 500 copies, but compact cassettes and CDs are also produced and music is sold digitally. 2013 saw the release of the label's first record, which featured the American psychedelic rock band The Flying Eyes . In 2015, the label released a first compilation album with the title of artists who had previously published on the label, including Coogan's Bluff , Mangoo and The Flying Eyes.
