The HC Düdingen Bulls is a Swiss ice hockey club from Düdingen in the canton of Friborg , which currently participates in the MySports League , the third highest league level in Switzerland.

history

HC Düdingen Bulls was founded in 1966. In 1969 an ice rink was built, which had to give way seven years later. In 1971 the promotion to the 2nd division was realized. In the 1970s, the finals for promotion to the first division were reached several times, which, however, was not achieved. Due to the poor infrastructure, the club rose in the 1980s to the 4th division. In 1996 a new ice rink was finally opened. As a result, HC Düdingen Bulls managed to return to the top amateur level, the first division, within a few years. In the 2012/13 season , the championship of the first division was won for the first time with a victory in the final against EHC Burgdorf .
