HC Roma
The Hockey Club Roma is a hockey club from the Italian capital Rome . The club, founded in 1968, plays in the Roman city colors red and yellow and is one of the most successful Italian hockey clubs. There are only teams in the men's and junior area, women's hockey is offered by the friendly Club Libertas San Saba , which uses the same course located in the south of Rome on Via delle Tre Fontane. In the rankings of most field hockey championships, HC Roma is in third place with six titles, behind record champions SG Amsicora from Cagliari with 20 championships and the seven-time champion MDA Rome , whose last title dates back to 1971.
In 2011, HC Roma organized the Euro Hockey Trophy , the foundation of the Euro Hockey League . There the club reached the final, which it lost 4-1 against AHTC Vienna .
