Hagen Bähr

Hagen Bähr (* 1990 in Darmstadt ) is a German theater , film and television actor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Hagen Bähr studied at the Bertolt Brecht School in Darmstadt at the Mainz Drama School . During his studies he played at the Schauspiel Frankfurt and at the Staatstheater Darmstadt . After completing his studies, he went to the Meiningen State Theater in 2014 . There he received the Ulrich Burkhardt Award for Best Young Actor in 2016 for his double leading role in Kleist's Prince Friedrich von Homburg and Wolfgang Borchert's Draußen vor der Tür , directed by Ansgar Haag . Since the 2016/17 season he has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Kassel and in the same year received the young talent award from the Fördergesellschaft Staatstheater Kassel eV In Kassel he was among others as "Karl Moor" in Die Räuber , "Sims" in Die Netzwelt , "Tybalt" in Romeo and Juliet and as "Orest" in The Oresty on the stage. The production Die Orestie , directed by Johanna Wehner , was awarded the Faust German Theater Prize for best director in 2017 . He has also worked with directors such as Markus Dietz, Johanna Wehner , Anna Bergmann , Günter Krämer , Marco Storman, Gustav Rueb , Maik Priebe and Herman Schein .

In his childhood and early youth, Hagen Bähr was a goalkeeper at SV Darmstadt 98 and played through several DFB squad teams .

Away from the stage, Hagen Bähr works as an actor for film and television.

He is married to the Austrian actress Meret Engelhardt and lives in Kassel .
