Hagen Pohle

Hagen Pohle (born March 5, 1992 in Frankfurt an der Oder ) is a German walker .

In the 10,000-meter walk he won the 2009 World Youth Championships in Bressanone and the 2011 European Junior Championships in Tallinn .

In the 20 km walk he was European champion at the U23 European Championships in 2013 in Tampere . At the 2014 European Championships in Zurich , he came in 14th place and at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing , 18th place. Pohle also achieved 18th place at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . At the 2017 World Championships in London , he achieved 17th place. At the European Championships in Berlin in 2018 , he finished 8th, his best international position in the active area to date.

In 2013 he became German champion over 20 km, in 2017 over 10,000 meters. Since 2009 he has held the German youth records of the U18 in 10,000 and 5,000 meters of train walking and in 5,000 meters of indoor walking.
