Hagenbacher Hof

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hagenbacher Hof , on the federal highway 316 between Inzlingen and Degerfelden on the eastern ramp of the pass crossing at Waidhof in the district of Lörrach . It was first mentioned as a (now desolate) settlement in the year 800 ( Hacanpahc ), as a farm for the first time in the 12th century. It is still managed today and is a listed building.

history

The stately Gothic building with a stepped gable , bay window , coat of arms above the entrance, a Gothic pointed arch door frame on the back and a small belfry on the rear stepped gable belonged to various knights , most recently Burkard von Kienberg. On February 9, 1281 he handed over his inheritance for his admission to the Teutonic Order in Beuggen , after Ulrich von Kienberg, together with his wife Agatha and their sons Hartman and Heinrich, had already given the usufruct of this court to the Teutonic Knights on May 8, 1261. In addition to the courtyard in Hagenbach, this included a courtyard in Minseln , 3 Schupposen in front of the city of Rheinfelden, a Schupposen in Möhlin , 6 Schupposen and the mill in Oltingen , whereupon Burkard von Kienberg and the Commander of the Teutonic Order committed themselves to all further inheritance claims on the part of Burkard close.

In 1281 a knight Burkart von Tegerfeld appears together with his son Hildebrandt. In it they sold the Teutonic Knight Order a Schuppose zu Hagenbach including all rights and "accessories" for 13 pfennigs. This sex is a branch line of the von Tegerfelden family in the canton of Aargau. However, the Aargau main line already died out in 1254 with Walter von Tegerfelden in the male line. The branch line mentioned here probably had three castles, all of which were located near the Hagenbacher Hof, including the Strenger Felsen castle .

Depiction of the Hagenbacher Hof in a map of Degerfelden and Hagenbach from 1883

Konrad von Hagenbach, named in 1285, was a friar in the Deutschherrenkommende Beuggen. To what extent there was a family relationship between the lords of Degerfelden, the lords of Hagenbach and the lords of Kienberg, or the lords of blades whose fiefs they were, has not been clearly clarified. One possible explanation lies in the von Klingen family of barons. Ulrich II von Klingen was married to Ita von Tegerfelden, whose headquarters were in Tegerfelden , now in the canton of Aargau .

After secularization , it became the state domain of the State of Baden and its successor Baden-Württemberg , leased from 1978 and sold to the lessee in 2000. The stream flowing past the main building was once used by a mill; An old millstone lies at the entrance to the house today.
