Hahm Eun-jung (born December 12, 1988 in Seoul ) is a South Korean actress , singer and member of the girl group T-ara , which was founded by Mnet Media in 2009 .

Life

Ham Eun-jeong was born on December 12, 1988 in Seoul. Her mother was a piano teacher, but later became Eun-jeong's manager . During her time in middle school , Ham took taekwondo lessons and won three different competitions. She came into contact with the entertainment industry as a child by participating in the 1995 “Little Miss Korea” election.

Career

In 1995 Ham started his career as a child actor in the youth drama 신세대 보고서 어른들 은 몰라요 ( Sinsedae Bogoseo Eoreundeureun Mollayo ) on the television station KBS . She then had several minor roles in films, South Korean soaps, and appeared in commercials.

In 2007 Ham appeared in the music video for " 가시리 " (" Gasiri ") by SG Wannabe . She later appeared in the music videos for FT Island's " 천둥 " (" Cheondung "), " 한사람 만 " (" Hansaramman ") and " 남자 의 첫사랑 은 무덤 까지 간다 " (" Namjaui Cheotssarangeun Mudeomkkaji Ganda ").

Ham also played the lead role in Davichi's music video for the song "Time, Please Stop" (" 시간 아 멈춰라 "; " Sigana Meomchwora "), which was released on May 6, 2010.

In 2010, Ham played her first major leading role in the South Korean soap Coffee House . The first episode aired on SBS on May 17, 2010. On July 27, 2010, the series ended after 18 episodes.

Ham plays her first leading role in the thriller White ( 화이트 ). Directed by Kim Gok and Kim Sun, it is about the rise of a girl group, as well as conflicts and mysterious incidents around the group. The film opens in South Korean cinemas on June 9, 2011.

T-ara

T-ara is a girl group produced by Core Contents Media (a subsidiary of Mnet). Like Jiyeon, Eunjung was trained in "acting".

T-ara officially debuted on July 28, 2009 on the late-night show Radio Star , produced by Mnet Media and broadcast by MBC . Even before the official debut, T-ara contributed a song to the soundtrack of the television series Cinderella Man . Until September 2010 Ham was the band leader of T-ara, but was replaced by Boram.
