Hainer Kober

Hainer Kober (* 1942 ) is a translator of scientific and popular scientific literature in several fields and of fiction.

Kober studied German and Romance languages . Since 1972 he has translated works from English and French for several publishers, including works by Stephen Hawking , Brian Greene , Antonio Damasio and Oliver Sacks . In 2015, Kober was awarded the Heinrich Maria Ledig-Rowohlt Prize for German-speaking translators .

Hainer Kober lives in Soltau .
