Halbenmorgen is a district in the Alt Refrath district of Bergisch Gladbach .
history
The Halbenmorgen settlement was named after the old settlement and field name Am halben Morgen , which is recorded in the original cadastre "west of Altrefrath". The Halbenmorgengut emerged from an early modern farm, which was created from the fire-rusted estate by dividing the estate around 1684 . The field name Halbenmorgen refers to the extent of an arable land . It was about half an acre in size .
