Haley Strode

Haley Anne Strode (* 1987 in Owensboro , Kentucky ) is an American actress who became famous for the film Gangster Squad and the television series Wendell & Vinnie .

Life

Haley Strode was born in Owensboro and grew up on her family's farm in the small town of Stanley. She graduated from Apollo High School in Owensboro, and then attended the University of Mississippi at Oxford , where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater arts.

Career

She began her television career with appearances on Comedy Central series such as Root of All Evil and Important Things with Demetri Martin . In 2011 and 2012 she made several guest appearances in the crime series CSI: NY and Castle . She was also seen as a waitress in the pilot episode of the comedy series The New Normal in 2012 . In May 2012 she got a role in the TNT pilot Lost Angels , in which Jon Bernthal is to play a leading role.

In 2013 Strode took on the role of Marcia Keeler alongside Giovanni Ribisi as Officer Conway Keeler in the movie Gangster Squad . Since 2013 she has been in the Nickelodeon television series Wendell & Vinnie , alongside Jerry Trainor , in the role of Taryn in front of the camera.
