Halzhausen is a district of the municipality of Lonsee in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . The village is about one kilometer south of Lonsee.

history

Halzhausen is first mentioned in a document in 1108. Luitgard donated goods to the Blaubeuren monastery here in 1108 . Halzhausen was pledged to Ulm in 1382 by the Counts of Helfenstein and sold in 1396. Ulm acquired the Blaubeurer property in 1534 through an exchange. With Sinabronn , Halzhausen was part of the Lonsee office of the Lower Lordship of Ulm.

In 1803 Halzhausen came to Bavaria and in 1810 through the border treaty between Bavaria and Württemberg to the Kingdom of Württemberg .

Halzhausen was incorporated into Lonsee on April 1, 1972.
