Hamborg is part of the Wrestedt municipality in the Aue municipality in the Uelzen district in Lower Saxony .
Geography and transport links
The place is south of the core town Wrestedt and south of the core town Uelzen .
The Wieren mountains rise to the south and reach a height of 136 meters ( Hoher Berg ). The Bornbach has its source southwest of Hamborg . It flows west through the 283 ha large nature reserve Bornbachtal .
The federal highway 4 runs together with the federal highway 191 to the west, the Elbe Lateral Canal runs to the east.
