The Bornbach is an approximately 12 km long left tributary of the Stederau in the Lower Saxony district of Uelzen .
It has its source southwest of Nienwohlde (municipality Wrestedt , Samtgemeinde Aue ). From there it flows in a northerly direction, crossing the 283 ha large nature reserve Bornbachtal west past Wrestedt and on the eastern outskirts of Borne (City Uelzen ). It takes up the Eisenbach on the right, continues to flow west of Niendorf II as Wrestedter Bach and flows into the Stederau on the northern outskirts of Niendorf II.
