Handroš Tara

Handroš Tara (German Andreas Thar , Latinized Andreas Tharaeus , Andreas Thareus ; * around 1570 in Muskau , † around 1638 in Wendisch-Buchholz ) was a Lower Sorbian Protestant pastor and author of several texts.

Life

Since 1588 Andreas Thar studied Protestant theology at the Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) . He was pastor in Friedersdorf near Storkow from 1599 to 1613 at the latest, and in Wendisch-Buchholz from 1617 at the latest . From 1628 he was apparently not in the church service for a few years and from 1633 or 1634 pastor in Lübben .
