André Lee Roberson (born December 4, 1991 in Las Cruces , New Mexico ) is an American basketball player who has played in the NBA for the Oklahoma City Thunder since 2013 on the position of small forward and shooting guard .

Career

Roberson played three years for the University of Colorado Boulder and in his junior year scored a double-double on average with 10.9 points and 11.2 rebounds . In the 2013 NBA Draft he was first selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 26th place and then transferred to the Oklahoma City Thunder . In his rookie year, Roberson commuted between the Thunder and the Tulsa 66ers , who were the Thunder farm team in the D-League at the time . In his sophomore year in the NBA, Roberson was promoted to starter for his defensive strength. On the offensive, however, Roberson is limited and only achieves 3.4 points per game. In the 16/17 season he had his best season so far with an average of 6.6 points and 5.1 rebounds and was appointed to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team at the end of the season . The 2018/19 season was suspended Roberson due to a serious injury to his left knee.
