In late July 2018, Diallo signed a contract with Oklahoma City. At the slam dunk competition as part of the NBA's All-Star Game in February 2019, Diallo caused a sensation when he jumped 2.16-meter-tall Shaquille O'Neal and then smashed the ball into the basket. In doing so, he left the competition behind.
