Hanno Krause

Hanno Krause (born January 19, 1964 ) has been the full-time mayor of the Schleswig-Holstein city ​​of Kaltenkirchen since 2012 . He is a member of the CDU .

Life

Hanno Krause comes from Warin , a small town near Wismar in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . He attended the Mecklenburg-West Pomerania Municipal Study Institute in Schwerin , where he graduated as an administrative specialist. From 1985 to 1990 he studied agricultural sciences at the University of Rostock with a degree in agricultural engineering, followed by business administration.

From 1991 to 2000 Hanno Krause was head of the main administration and the public order office in Brüel , from 2000 to 2004 head of administration at the Franzburg-Richtenberg office . Moving to Schleswig-Holstein, he was department head in Ahrensburg since 2004 .

He is married for the second time and has one birth child and two children by marriage.

Mayor's office

In August 2011, the CDU Kaltenkirchen nominated him as a candidate for mayor for the November 2011 election, which had become necessary after the SPD mayor Stefan Sünwoldt was voted out of office . Krause won the first ballot with 42.8 percent of the valid votes. In the runoff election, he prevailed with 83.7 percent of the valid votes. Hanno Krause has been the full-time mayor of Kaltenkirchen since January 1, 2012. In the mayoral election on May 7, 2017, he was confirmed in office with 88.6 percent of the valid votes.

For the 2013 to 2018 electoral period, he is a member of the Economic and Financial Affairs Committee in the Schleswig-Holstein City Association .
