Hanns Winter

Hanns Winter (born February 13, 1922 ; † August 13, 2013 in Detmold ) was a German administrative officer and politician .

Life

Hanns Winter worked as a department head for housing construction for the district president in Düsseldorf until 1962 and was then responsible for the areas of municipal supervision, state building construction and urban planning for the district president Detmold .

From December 1970 to June 1980 he was government vice-president of the government in Detmold. From January to April 1973, Winter was State Commissioner of the City of Bielefeld in a phase of municipal reorganization and also took on the role of Lord Mayor. From 1978 to 1979 he served as interim president until Walter Stich took office . From 1980 to 1985 he was State Secretary in the Ministry for State and Urban Development of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia . After his retirement he was, among other things, first chairman of the Association for the Promotion of the Detmold State Theater in 1986 . Hanns Winter died on August 13, 2013 in Detmold.
