Hans-Albert Stechl

Hans-Albert Stechl (born March 21, 1949 in St. Georgen in the Black Forest ) is a German lawyer , lawyer , journalist , author and publisher . He has been chairman of the administrative board of Südwestrundfunk since 2011 .

Life

Stechl studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau , Geneva and Constance . In 1976 the second legal examination took place . From 1976 to 1981 he was managing director of the Southwest German Association of Journalists in Stuttgart , which is a regional association of the German Association of Journalists . Stechl has been admitted to the bar in Freiburg im Breisgau since 1981 and is an independent lawyer specializing in media and labor law.

Functions at Südwestrundfunk

Stechl had been a member of the Südwestfunk broadcasting council since 1983 . He has been a member of the board of directors of the successor company Südwestrundfunk since it was founded in 1998 and was elected chairman on September 16, 2011.

Others

Stechl is the author of numerous cookbooks. The Badische Zeitung regularly publishes the Stechl Standgericht column on culinary topics. Stechl also works as a publisher with the Freiburg-based Sternwaldverlag .
