Hans-Christian Hettfleisch

Hans-Christian Hettfleisch (born November 17, 1955 in Berlin ) is a German officer ( Colonel i. G.). He was u. a. Defense attaché at the German Embassy in Stockholm as well as commander of the NBC defense and legal protection school in Sonthofen and general of the NBC defense force .

Life

Hettfleisch joined the army of the German armed forces in 1975 . He was trained at the 2nd / ABC Defense Training Battalion 220 and at the ABC and Self-Protection School (ABC / SeS) in Sonthofen . He then studied pedagogy at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg . In 1981 he became platoon leader in the 2nd / ABC Defense Battalion 110 and in 1982 company commander of the NBC Defense Company 7 in Emden. In 1986 he went to the ABC / SeS in Sonthofen as a lecture hall manager.

From 1987 he took part in the 30th General Staff Course (H) at the Command Academy of the Federal Armed Forces (FüAkBw) in Hamburg. In 1989 he became G2 Op with the I. Corps in Münster. He then completed the Swedish General Staff training at the Defense Academy in Stockholm. In 1993 he became a consultant in the command staff of the armed forces (Fü S III 4) in Bonn. From 1994 to 1997 he was commander of the NBC defense training battalion 210 in Sonthofen. In 1997 it was used as a G2 in the NATO-HQ Baltic Approaches (BALTAP) in Karup, Denmark. In 2000/01 he took part in the International Security Policy Training Course at the Geneva Center for Security Policy (GCSP). From 2001 to 2004 he was a defense attaché at the German Embassy in Stockholm. Then he was a tutor at the FüAkBw in Hamburg. In 2005 he became department head G3 at the Wehrbereichskommando (WBK) I in Kiel. In 2008 he became commander of the Schleswig-Holstein state command there . In 2009 he became head of the department and senior lecturer in personality development in the military leadership & organization department at the FüAkBw. In 2011/12 he was deputy commander and from 2012 to 2014 commander of the NBC and self-protection school (from 2013 school NBC defense and legal protection tasks) in Sonthofen and general of the NBC defense force. Since then he has been head of the Armed Forces Support and Territorial Support Division in the Armed Forces Management Department (Fü SK II 2) in the Federal Ministry of Defense in Berlin.

Hettfleisch is married and has four children.
