Hans-Gerhard Jene (born May 26, 1961 in Illingen (Saar) ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the Saarland state parliament .

education and profession

After the secondary school leaving certificate in 1978 and the university entrance qualification passed in 1981 at the Städtisches Wirtschaftsgymnasium Saarbrücken, Hans-Gerhard Jene studied business administration at the university of applied sciences from 1981 to 1986. He then worked for a tax consultancy firm from 1986 to 1990 and for an insurance company from 1990 to 1992 . Immediately thereafter, he worked as a personnel clerk at a commercial bank in Rhineland-Palatinate / Saar until 2009 .

politics

Hans-Gerhard Jene joined the Junge Union (JU) in 1975 and has been a member of the CDU since 1977 . From 1978 to 1990 he was JU local chairman in Merchweiler and in 1984 also deputy district chairman. For the CDU he exercised, among other things, the task of deputy local chairman and community association chairman. For his party, he has been a member of the Merchweiler municipal council since 1984.

On November 18, 2009, Hans-Gerhard Jene replaced Gaby Schäfer in the Saarland state parliament . In the state parliament he sat for his parliamentary group in the submissions, in the Europe, in the budget and in the environment committee . In the state elections in 2012 , he missed the re-entry. On September 23, 2015, he moved up to parliament again, this time for the late Hans Ley . In the state election in Saarland in 2017 , he lost his mandate.
