Hans-Otto Kleinmann

Hans-Otto Kleinmann (* 1937 in Berlin ) is a German historian .

Life

Kleinmann studied history , Romance studies and German at the University of Cologne . In 1967 he was with Richard Konetzke at the Philosophical Faculty with the dissertation The politics of the Viennese court against the Spanish monarchy under Charles III. 1759-1788 to Dr. phil. PhD.

He was Johannes Kunisch's assistant and became a private lecturer in 1979 . Since 1992 he has been an adjunct professor for modern history at the History Department of the University of Cologne.

From 1982 to 2002 he was a research assistant in the archive for Christian-Democratic Politics of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Sankt Augustin near Bonn, most recently as deputy director. He is co-editor of the journal Historisch-Politische Mitteilungen .
