Hans Brennert
Hans Brennert (born June 24, 1870 in Berlin , † February 8, 1942 there ) was a German writer, playwright and screenwriter.
Life
Hans Brennert was the son of a school principal and studied philosophy, literature and political science in Berlin. From 1895 he worked as a playwright, radio and film writer. He also wrote for the Berliner Tageblatt and the Vossische Zeitung .
From 1920 to 1930, Brennert was director of the city of Berlin's news office. He is a co-founder of the Association of German Stage Writers and Stage Composers.
Hans Brennert died in Berlin in 1942 at the age of 71. His grave, which has not been preserved, was in one of the cemeteries in front of Hallesches Tor . It is not known exactly which one.
