Hans Eitel Diede zum Fürstenstein (born October 16, 1624 in Wellingerode ; † February 12, 1685 at Friedberg Castle ) was a senior administrative officer in the Landgraviate of Hesse-Darmstadt , envoy - among other things to the Reichstag - and burgrave of the Friedberg family from the Diede family Fürstenstein .

He was the son of the imperial councilor Christoph Wilhelm Diede zum Fürstenstein († 1643) and Anna von Berlepsch († 1624). Hans Eitel Diede zum Fürstenstein was married to Clara Maria Anna Magdalena von Buttlar (1624–1675), daughter of Dietrich Heinrich von Buttlar and Magdalena von Cramm , and his second marriage to Katharina Eleonore Diede zum Fürstenstein (1705), daughter of Georg Christoph Diede zum Fürstenstein and Susanna Katharina von Bodenhausen .

The first marriage revealed:

  2. Wilhelm Dietrich Diede zum Fürstenstein († 1691), Colonel of the Landgraviate of Hesse-Kassel .
  3. One daughter, married to Christoph Freiherr von Wrisberg (1650–1732), Electoral Cologne Privy Councilor and director of the knighthood of the Hildesheim Monastery .
  4. One daughter, Johannetta Amalie, married to Georg XIV Riedesel zu Eisenbach .
  5. Louise Hedwig Diede zum Fürstenstein († 1733), married to Christian Hans von Warnstedt (1675–1742), bailiff in the Danish service.

Career

Hans Eitel Diede zum Fürstenstein had been Burgmann of Friedberg Castle since 1653. In 1655 he became the Hesse-Darmstadt court master , in 1661 the secret council and in 1663 the envoy of the Hesse-Darmstadt court. In 1671 he was appointed senior bailiff for the county of Nidda . In 1672 he became burgrave in Friedberg. In 1683 he received the title of Real Secret Imperial Council . He was also captain of the Middle Rhine Imperial Knighthood and Council of War of the Upper Rhenish imperial cities .

Under the company name of the living , he was accepted as a member of the Fruitful Society .
