Hans Friedrich (born December 4, 1939 in Nuremberg ) is a German painter and graphic artist .

Life

Hans Friedrich, born in Nuremberg, grew up in the Sonthofen district . He passed his Abitur in 1960 in Oberstdorf , after which he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich until 1966 . There he was a student of Professor Ernst Geitlinger and Georg Meistermann . Hans Friedrich lives and works in Munich and Italy .

Pictures by Hans Friedrich can be found in the Neue Pinakothek Munich , the Lenbachmuseum Munich , the Westphalian State Museum and the Kunsthalle Recklinghausen .

Study trips took Hans Friedrich to the Middle East ( Turkey , Iran , Syria , Lebanon ), North Africa ( Egypt , Sudan , Morocco ) and overseas ( USA , Canada and Mexico ).

style

Friedrich cultivates realistic painting. His landscapes are mostly associated with disruptive elements (red rod, tracks in the snow).
