Hans Hirsch (industrialist)

Hans Hirsch (born June 8, 1906 in Schottwien ; † April 30, 2004 in Villach ) was an Austrian entrepreneur . He was a skilled Gerber , Riemer and saddlery and put the master's certificate in all three professions from.

In 1916, Hans Hirsch moved to Carinthia and returned to his parents' company in Schottwien ( Lower Austria ) after finishing school . In 1932 he met Grete Neumann, whom he married on October 8, 1935. From this marriage came the four sons Karl, Hermann , Hans and Kurt Hirsch and the daughter Annemarie.

In 1939 Hans Hirsch went back to Carinthia, where he ventured into self-employment in 1945. He put leather - bracelets for the watch industry ago and opened his company (now Hirsch Armbänder GmbH ) in Klagenfurt , in the Bahnhofstrasse 8 / Ecke Age Place - Sparkasse building, 5th floor. He worked on the first bracelets with his pocket knife and a household sewing machine . As early as 1948, the company moved to Linienstrasse (Klagenfurt), where a bomb ruin was completely rebuilt and production was connected. The location was subsequently expanded (until the move to Hirschstrasse in 1970).

After the handover (sale) of the company Hans Hirsch und Söhne OHG to his son Hermann in 1961, Hans Hirsch retired to Treffen near Villach, where he did not only hunt for the rest of his life , but also continued to develop innovations in dedicated to different areas.
