Johann "Hans" Kleer (born September 4, 1969 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian soccer player and now coach .

Career

As a player

Kleer came to the second division VfB Mödling for the 1989/90 season from FK Austria Wien . With Mödling he rose to the 1st division in 1992 . He then joined the second division First Vienna FC for the 1992/93 season . In his first season with Vienna Kleer came to 30 second division appearances, in which he scored six goals. In the 1993/94 season he came to 23 missions in which he scored two goals. In the 1994/95 season he completed 20 second division games for the Viennese and scored four goals.

For the 1995/96 season he moved to league rivals SC Austria Lustenau . For Vorarlberg, he made 16 appearances in the second division in that season, in which he did not score a goal. In the 1996/97 season he played 27 games and scored three goals; with Lustenau he rose as a second division champion at the end of the season in the Bundesliga. He then made his debut in the top Austrian league in July 1997 when he was in the starting line-up against SV Austria Salzburg on the first day of the 1997/98 season . By the end of the season he had made 26 Bundesliga appearances in which he scored three goals. In the 1998/99 season he was used 33 times and scored three goals again.

After four years in Vorarlberg, Kleer moved to the second division club FCN St. Pölten for the 1999/2000 season . For the Lower Austrians, he played 19 second division games before the club's license was revoked during the winter break of that season. Then moved to fourth-rate Kleer SV Hundsheim , with whom he as a master of division in the Regional ascent. After promotion he moved to the 2000/01 season for the third-class 1st Simmeringer SC . For the Viennese he came to five regional league appearances. In January 2001 he moved to the fifth class SV Donau Wien , with whom he was promoted to the Vienna City League at the end of the season .

In January 2002 he joined the regional division SC Zwettl . For the Lower Austrians he came to 14 missions, but with the club he was relegated to the regional league. He then returned to Donau Wien for the 2002/03 season. After the 2004/05 season and promotion to the regional league, he ended his career as an active player.

As a trainer

In addition to his work as a player, from November 2004 Kleer also acted as a coach for SV Donau Wien , which he led into the regional league . In January 2006 he became the coach of the fifth class SV Gerasdorf / Stammersdorf . With Gerasdorf he was promoted to the Vienna City League in 2007 .

After promotion, he became the coach of the second division club SC Austria Lustenau for the 2007/08 season , where he had also played as a player between 1995 and 1999. In March 2009 Lustenau separated from Kleer, at that time they were in eleventh place in the table. In December 2009 he became the coach of the regional league team Wiener Sportklub . After the 2009/10 season, his contract with the Viennese was not extended. In December 2010 Kleer became the coach of the fourth-class FC Tulln . In October 2011 he moved to the regional division Floridsdorfer AC . With the FAC he was promoted to the 2nd division in 2014 . In April 2015 the Viennese separated from Kleer, at that time they were in eighth place in the table.

For the 2015/16 season he was coach of the regional division SV Horn . In April 2016, Horn parted ways with Kleer, at that time they were second in the table. For the 2016/17 season he took over the regional league team First Vienna FC , where he had already played as a player. With Vienna he was able to become champions of the Regionalliga Ost in 2017. In January 2018 he resigned as coach of Vienna after the club was promoted to the fifth highest division.

In March 2018 he became the coach of the regional division FC Karabakh Vienna . For the 2018/19 season, Karabakh was renamed FC Mauerwerk . After the 2018/19 season, he left Masonry. In November 2019 he was a second time coach of the now second-class SV Horn. After nine games as coach of Horn, of which only one could be won, he dissolved his contract with the second division team in June 2020 and became sports director of the regional division SV Stripfing . Immediately after his engagement, he installed himself as head coach for the regional league team.
