Hans Kroliczak

Hans Kroliczak (born August 11, 1936 in Stegers ( Pomerania ); † February 8, 2006 ) was a German police officer and writer .

Life

Hans Kroliczak's family came to Kiel after they were expelled from Pomerania in 1946 . He attended elementary and middle school ; then he completed an apprenticeship as a gardener . In 1956 he began training as a police officer in Münster . From 1958 to 1960 he was a member of the riot police in Bochum . This was followed by the transfer to the Cologne police force , where Kroliczak was on motorcycle patrol until 1967 . He then worked for the Cologne criminal police until 1988 . In addition to his work as a police officer , he has been writing literary texts since 1974.

Hans Kroliczak's literary work includes stories , reports , poems and plays .

Hans Kroliczak was a member of the Association of German Writers and (as an honorary member) of the Cologne Literary Society . In 1976 he received a scholarship for literature from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and in 1989 invitations from Villa Massimo and the artist village of Schöppingen .
