Hans Pfisterer (athlete)

Hans Pfisterer (born December 27, 1953 in Hockenheim ) is a former German marathon runner .

In October 1982 he finished second at the Maratona Internazionale in Turin . The following year he won the Tiberias Marathon . In 1985 he was twelfth overall in the Frankfurt Marathon and third in the German Marathon Championships . After another third place at the national championships in 1986, he was nominated in 1987 for the IAAF World Cup marathon in Seoul, where he came in 36th. A victory at the Singapore marathon in 1988 was followed by seventh place at the German championships in 1989. In 1990 he was ninth at the Munich marathon and came at the same time as Josef Oefele, who was finally declared the winner by the competition judges , at the German championships held as part of the Karlsruhe Red Cross Marathon to the goal. In 1991 he was again German runner-up, five seconds behind Thomas Ertl .

Hans Pfisterer started for HSV Hockenheim, LG coop Kurpfalz , MTG 1899 Mannheim and LG Frankfurt . He is a trained machine fitter.
