Hans Schwarz Junior (born November 24, 1908 as Johann Joseph Schwarz in Dortmund , † October 30, 1983 in Berlin ) was a German wrestler and actor .

Life

The son of the multiple world champion of the professional wrestler Hans Schwarz of the same name had attended the technical college for two semesters after graduating from high school and then followed in his father's footsteps. In this sport, Schwarz junior also won multiple championship honors: he was world champion three times and European champion once. He remained a professional wrestler until 1937, when Schwarz switched to acting.

One of his early theater engagements from 1946 to 1948 was his engagement at the Berlin Schloßparktheater under the direction of Boleslaw Barlog . There he was seen, for example, in the plays Three Men on a Horse, The Marriage, Androclus and the Lion and A Lifetime .

Hans Schwarz junior also worked as a film actor since the beginning of the Second World War. He played with in the following movies: Our Miss Doctor , the love , the night I'll never forget , Maharaja against his will , and You Only Live Once . In the 1950s and 1960s he was also in the films Money from the Air , The Beautiful Liar , The Invisible Claws of Dr. See Mabuse and Winnetou and his friend Old Firehand .
